Sea-Air transport from China – Europe. This transport mode is a combination between sea freight and airfreight transport bewteen: origin China sea port – UAE (Jebel Ali free port) – destination airport in Europe. Total transport time by Sea-Air mode takes between 18 up to 22 days, which is ca 2 weeks shorter then casual sea freight transport (contenerized or loose). Price of this transport is a compromise between shorter transit time compared to casual sea freight mode and price compared to regular airfreight solution.

Cargo insurance. Property insurance in land, sea and air transport provides financial compensation in case of cargo damage. Property is insured during the transportation, loading, reloading, unloading and temporary storage. The obligatory insurance often results from INCOTERMS trading rules which are the base of the international trade base. The obligation to insure cargo results from INCOTERMS trading rules which are the base for international trading, which define the responsibility for cargo insurance. The insurance base for cargo are Institute Cargo Clauses A, B, C, from January, 1st, 2009.
